Dr. May Wu
Founder, Wu & Partners Optometry Clinic
Dr. May Wu is a highly experienced optometrist with decades of clinical and academic expertise. Prior to founding Wu & Partners Optometry Clinic, she served as an Associate Professor at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University for 15 years, where her responsibilities included teaching, clinical supervision, research, local and international liaison, as well as optometry and educational administration.
Since establishing Wu & Partners Optometry Clinic in 1998, Dr. Wu has been committed to delivering optometric services that meet international standards of quality and professionalism. Although she is no longer practising clinically, she remains closely involved in the clinic’s development and continues to place great emphasis on service quality and patient care.
Manki Chan
Registered Optometrist & Partner
Manki Chan became a partner of Wu & Partners Optometry Clinic in 2018. She is a registered optometrist (Part I) with extensive experience in the optometry field. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Optometry from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and has completed the Orthokeratology programme conducted by the same institution.
In 2018, Manki obtained the prestigious Fellowship of the British Contact Lens Association (FBCLA), an internationally recognised qualification held by fewer than 400 optometrists worldwide. She also serves as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Optometry at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where she supervises and assesses students’ clinical training to ensure they meet recognised professional standards prior to graduation.
Since 2015, Manki has served as a Committee Member and Treasurer of the Hong Kong Optometrists Association, during which she organised numerous community eye screening programmes and public eye care seminars to promote eye health awareness and the professional role of optometrists. She has been interviewed by various media outlets, including Hong Kong Economic Journal, Sky Post, Ming Pao, Oriental Daily, Apple Daily, and HK01, sharing professional eye care knowledge with the public.
Venus Ng Hei Yin
Registered Optometrist
Venus Ng graduated from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Optometry and is a Part I Registered Optometrist in Hong Kong. She is currently practicing at Wu & Partners Optometry Clinic, where she is responsible for comprehensive eye examinations, specialty contact lens fitting, myopia control for children, and visual function assessment and training. Venus is dedicated to promoting eye health education and raising public awareness of vision care, with a particular focus on the visual development of children and adolescents. In addition to her clinical work, she is also a parenting and health columnist, regularly contributing articles to various media platforms to share eye care knowledge and professional insights, with the aim of helping families better understand and value visual health.
Hebe Ho Nga Sze
Optometric Assistant
Hebe is warm, friendly, and patient-focused, with a gentle and caring approach to every patient she serves. She is highly attentive to detail and ensures that all eye examinations and diagnostic procedures are conducted accurately and safely.
With a strong sense of responsibility and a genuine passion for helping others, Hebe listens carefully to patients’ needs and strives to provide a comfortable, reassuring, and pleasant examination experience for every visitor.
Our Journey
In 2018, to further enhance service quality, Wu & Partners Optometry Clinic entered into an agreement with two other optometry centres to jointly become part of the Central Eye Care Center, enabling shared resources and expertise.
Since its establishment, Wu & Partners Optometry Clinic has built a strong reputation within the industry and has continued to expand its services. As a socially responsible organisation, the clinic actively participates in community initiatives and charitable activities, giving back to society.
